Singer Tems has achieved another feat as she became the first and only Nigerian artist to accomplish this at the Oscar Awards 2023.
Following her Golden Globe awards nomination, multiple award-winning singer and performer Tems has been recognized once again for her immense contribution to music as she became the first and only Nigerian artist in history to receive an Oscar Awards 2023 nomination.
Tems received an Oscar Award nomination for Best Original Song for her immense contribution to the writing of ‘Lift Me Up’ for the Marvel-produced Black Panther Wakanda Forever.
This nomination comes after the Golden Globe awards nomination in December 2022 and also the grammy awards 2023 nominations in November 2022. Tems has continued to break and surpass existing barriers to date as he has been recognized by the biggest international awards and also on the music charts as well.
