Super Eagles Star Bassey Sends Touching Message to Rangers Fans

The Nigerian Super Eagles star and former Rangers player Calvin Bassey has thanked those in charge of Scottish giants Rangers and the fans for given him the chance to show himself which helped him complete a dream move to Ajax.

On Wednesday afternoon, the Dutch side announced the signing of Calvin Bassey on a five-year deal and has immediately turned up for pre-season training ahead of the coming term. There is no doubt about the fact that Calvin Bassey was impressive at Rangers in which Ajax’s eggheads saw the reason to spend big money on him.

As things stand now, Calvin Bassey is now the most expensive Nigerian defender in history breaking the record of Taribo West when he moved to Inter Milan. According to what Calvin Bassey posted on his Instagram page, he also thanked his former teammates for the love and support.
