Robert Lewandowski is desperately pushing for a move away from Bayern Munich and has no plans to resume pre-season with the Bundesliga champions. Barcelona has been heavily linked with the 33-year-old striker as they have identified as the Polish striker as their main transfer target for the summer.

According to a report via Daily Mail, Lewandowski is threatening to go on strike and will not resume with the rest of the Bayern Munich squad when the Bundesliga champions camp opens for pre-season on July 12.

The forward hopes the action will force Bayern Munich to sell him off to Barcelona as he does not see his future lying with the Bavarians after spending eight years with the team. Lewandowski has revealed he wants a new challenge having won the Bundesliga on numerous occasions and also the UEFA Champions League title with Bayern Munich.
