Ex Manchester City star, David Silva has the perfect retirement plan as the Real Sociedad midfielder has added another lucrative venture to his extraordinaire list of successful businesses.
The 37-year-old midfielder, who won several laurels with Manchester City, including the English Premier League, has opened a wine business that cost him millions.
According to Get Football, Silva bought an almost one million square metres estate in Gran Canaria, in a mountainous region, with eight hectares dedicated to vineyards.
The Spanish midfielder’s wine business has produced over 10,000 bottles from its first two harvests with a bottle costing as high as €170 in a Michelin-starred restaurant in London.
Silva who is set to retire at the end of the season, is already exporting his wines to Germany, Italy, the United Kingdom and the United States of America.
Meanwhile, David Silva has put together a little business empire that should last him a lifetime after he retires from professional football.
