Thomas Tuchel is looking for defensive reinforcements for the Blues after the departure of Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen this summer following the expiration of both players’ contracts.
Chelsea are believed to have identified De Ligt as a top transfer target but must be willing to pay €120m to price the Dutch defender away from Juventus Sky Sports reports. De Ligt still has two years on his current Juventus deal and Chelsea must have to pay his release clause before Juventus will consider releasing the Dutch defender from his contract.
Meanwhile, Chelsea are growing increasingly desperate in their pursuit to land Leeds winger, Raphinha this summer transfer window.
According to the Chelsea Chronicle, the Blues are looking to offer their star Hakim Ziyech to Leeds United as part of a deal to sign the 25-year-old Brazilian winger. Chelsea co-owner Todd Boehly has personally looked into a move for Raphinha who is also being closely chased by London rivals Arsenal.
