BREAKING: Immigration Finally Reveals True Age of Ekweremadu’s Kidney Donor.

The age of the alleged victim at the centre of the alleged transplant saga involving former Deputy Senate President Ike Ekweremadu and his wife, Beatrice, Nwamini David Ukpo, has been revealed. According to the Nigerian Immigration Service(NIS), he is is actually 21 and not 15 as alleged in many media reports, The Nation Newspaper reports.

This was disclosed by the Comptroller General of Nigeria Immigration Service, Isah Jere Idris.

He added that the service adhered strictly to due process in issuing the country’s ordinary passport to David,

The Nigeria Immigration Service boss said David applied for the international passport using the service’s portal after which he visited the Gwagwalada office in Abuja of the immigration with his birth certificate issued by the National Population Commission, National Identification Number (NIN) and a letter of indigineship from the Ebonyi State Liason office confirming he is from the state. The Comptroller General of Nigeria Immigration Service said from all the available information provided by Ukpo Nwamini David showed that he was born on October 12, 2000, Vanguard Newspaper added.

“The Nigerian Immigration service relies on information and Documentation from other government agencies like National Population Commission and the National Identification Management Commission.” 

Meanwhile, more facts emerged over the identity of David Ukpo Nwanmini the boy who was taken to the United Kingdom for organ harvesting by the former deputy senate president, Ike Ekweremadu, and his wife, Beatrice.

According to an acquittance who is a businessman and laptop engineer, Oyekan Tobi, the boy is definitely not a 15-year-old boy. Tobi, who is also a postgraduate student of the Nigeria Institute of Journalism, Ogba Lagos, spoke after the passport of the allegedly 15years boy surfaced online. According to him, the boy on the passport with the name David is from Ebonyi state assists his elder brother, Linus (also known as) Mile 2 in the market with customers.
