According to Football Espana, Barcelona has inserted a release clause of €500m in the contract of the Polish forward who has since joined the rest of his new teammates in the USA for their preseason tour.

The 33-year-old had fallen out with Bayern Munich officials towards the end of the 2021/22 season and asked for a move away from the Bundesliga champions.
