Cristiano Ronaldo Opens Up on When He Plans to Retire From Football.

Cristiano Ronaldo is not looking forward to retiring from football anytime soon following the 38-year-old forward’s latest declaration after an Al-Nassr game.

The Portugal forward is regarded as one of the greatest-ever footballers. In his astonishing career, he has played for top teams like Manchester United, Real Madrid, Juventus, and Sporting Lisbon.

According to Khaleej Times, Ronaldo has revealed he is willing to continue playing until his legs cave in, thereby debunking rumours of his impending retirement from the sport when his current Al-Nassr contract expires.

“I will continue to play until my legs say: Cristiano, I’m done’. I still have a lot. I still love football and scoring goals. I still love winning. They say I’m done, but I’m still proving that it’s not true.”

Ronaldo, who has a running contract with Al-Nassr until 2025, presently leads the Saudi Pro League scoring chart, having scored nine goals in six games thus far and being voted Player of the Month in August.
