Biography Of Munachi “Muna” Abii.

Munachi “Muna” Abii was born on the 5th of November 1987. Her full names are  Munachi Gail Teresa Abii Nwankwo. She is a Nigerian lyricist, On Air Personality and model. Munachi is of Igbo descent and hails from Imo state. She holds the crown for the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN) year 2007 pageantry. She stands at a 5 ft 7 (1.70 m) height

Life & Career

She was brought up in Port Harcourt. Muna was urged by her family to go after her love for music and expressions. In the wake of her O’Level from Federal Government Girls’ College Abuloma, Muna proceeded to Benson Idahosa University. There, she studied International Relations and Diplomacy.

In the year 2007 while in her 200 Level at the University, Muna emerged the winner of the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria beauty pageant. She used her stage as the beauty queen to create awareness on polio and sickle cell. Later in the same year Munachi Muna Abii represented her country Nigeria at Miss World 2009 held in China.

Before her MBGN win, Munachi Abii was part of the Port Harcourt-based rap band known as The Specimen A. During this period she teamed up with rap god, Terry Tha Rapman on the widely praised My PH Girl. As a rapper and performer, she named herself as Babyrella before she changed to Muna. As a lyricist she has written/co-written songs with the likes of Waje and J Martins. She has also been seen in music videos, most striking is P Square‘s “Ifunanya” where she appears as a vixen.

The pretty rap goddess represented Nigeria on the international broadcast TV, BET Cypher for the 2011 BET Awards.

In the same year, Unilever endorsed Munachi Muna Abii as a model for Lux. She is presently included in most advertisements for the brand.

Also the same 2011 saw Muna through as a host to the Malta Guinness Street Dance Africa TV series alongside others.

The beauty goddess has a lot of other achievements to her CV as a result of her hardwork.
